Introduction

The XAutoDM API lets you automate X (Twitter) from your own code — send DMs, scrape leads, read replies, and run engagement actions — without browser automation or scraping infrastructure.

You connect an X account once (we store the session encrypted and keep it alive with automatic re-login), then drive everything through one REST API. Base URL:

What you can do

• Send DMs from your connected X account, with idempotency so retries never double-send.
• Scrape leads — followers, following, verified followers, keyword search, tweet engagers, list members — with an accurate can_dm flag.
• Read replies — list DM conversations and fetch message history.
• Engagement actions — follow, unfollow, like, retweet, and post tweets.

How it works

• Authentication — every request carries your API key as a bearer token.
• Managed sessions — connect an X account and reference it by account_id; we handle session expiry.
• Credits — API calls are metered in credits, charged only on success.
• Seats — connecting an X account requires an active account plan ($50/mo per account).

Response format

Every endpoint returns the same envelope. Successful responses carry data plus a meta block with billing info:
